Thoughts on Civil War

Just so I don’t forget all the talking points before everyone else gets a chance to see it. [Obviously spoilers.]

Spiderman, while the actor was well suited, had WAY too much screen time. Also we don’t need another spiderman movie.

I think that not killing one of the characters (a la the source material) was both a good move to placate the audience as well as a cop out. I kind of feel robbed of some emotional trauma which could have been carried out really well by the Russos.

Unnecessary arms scene

Banter, quips, one liners - TOP NOTCH (+ Very small car)

For once please give me a single-shot action scene.

The whole basis behind the infighting seemed half asked but maybe because it seemed kind of buried by other plot.

Both end credit scenes get a resounding shrug from me also SUPER sad there won’t be any more Cap films, like, Very Sad.

AND I was right about Widow’s allegiance all along and it felt SO GOOD.

Also I really dislike Martin Freeman so screw that whole business

And ugh having Vision in this film did it no favours the dude should be nerfed gdi I really hate him

Lastly - never over Peggy, ever. But damn, Steve, hittin up multiple Carter generations like whoa
