Forgotten Memories pt. 1
“We bury memories the way we bury the dead—pretending they will not rise.” — unknown
Little CRK Au I came up with out of the blue
Forgotten Memories
“It just… came back.”
(Ça m’est… revenu.)
Warmth. I remember warmth. A velvet night, the faint scent of flowers in a dark room, and the sound of his breathing next to mine. I wasn’t alone then. There was laughter, love… a family. For a moment, I believed I was safe. But why does it feel so distant, like a story I read long ago? Why can’t I remember how it ended? Or… maybe I don’t want to. This memory—it flickers. It glitches. I can’t hold on to it, but it won’t let me go.
What if the life you built was only ever a fragment of the truth? Et si la vie que tu as construite n’avait toujours été qu’un fragment de la vérité ?

Happy Release Day to sweet author Penny Zeller for her book Forgotten Memories. BOOK DETAILS Some memories are best forgotten… The Wyoming Territory is rife with lawlessness and disorder, something Annie Ledbetter and her parents discover when their wagon train is robbed. Seven years later, Annie settles into her lifelong dream as a teacher in the small town of Willow Falls. When she meets handsome rancher Caleb Eliason through a humorous misunderstanding, she is quickly drawn to his kind heart and charming smile. Former outlaw Caleb Eliason embraces his chance at a fresh start. Gone are the days of robbing stagecoaches and wagon trains. When he falls in love with the new Willow Falls teacher, he doesn’t realize they’ve met before—under much different circumstances. When his past comes to light, will it put the growing love between them at risk? Can forgiveness and redemption heal two broken hearts or will the past keep them from sharing a future? #wyomingterritory #forgottenmemories #christianhistoricalromance #Christian #christianhistoricalfiction https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch8HkgErXx_/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Day 249/365. Some days you look to the future, and some days you reminisce in the past... - - Today we celebrated 100 years of my primary school existing. I was lucky enough to be a part of the old site, and the new, being the first year to graduate at the new premises. Being back on the grounds and seeing old teachers (who have since either moved on or retired) brought back some forgotten memories. #Centenial #Celebrating100years #PrimarySchool #BlastFromThePast #ForgottenMemories https://www.instagram.com/p/CTkGfeRnzXq/?utm_medium=tumblr
