Most times, Christians tend to forget that Jesus was rejected by His own people. This is crucial to remember because someone who is a genuine Christ follow will periodically also receive the same treatment. In those hurtful moments, it is important to look at the bigger picture. People are not rejecting that individual, per se, but Christ who resides in their heart. Christians must never let go of God's hand over the Devil's nonsense. In light of today's culture, Christians should adamantly distinguish themselves from the world AND carnal believers. God expects His people to be holy, righteous, merciful, loving, forgiving, peaceful, joyful, helpful, selfless, etc. Anything that does not resemble Christ needs to be avoided at ALL costs. Jumping on popular "bandwagons" is unwise without careful thought and meditation on God's Word. This also applies to theological perspectives. Not everyone has been sent by The Lord. _ Friends, nowadays everybody seems to "have the answer" to a comfortable life. Be that as it may, the only LIFE worth living is one that is completely surrendered to Christ. We cannot (serve) Jesus and Satan. No matter what, we must choose to stand up for biblical principles when it is necessary, regardless of the backlash.
