One of my favorite things about this show is just how long it is because despite my initial frustration it made the experience so intense. I was genuinely sucked into that show unlike anything I had ever watched before. The beginning of the anime perfectly captured the feeling of slipping into the past alongside mc. My favorite shot is that first time she ever lays her eyes on him while he's stuck to that tree - perfectly serene in his expression with the wind delicately swaying his hair as if to invite her for a closer look. It was magical.

I remember watching the show and feeling like I'm stuck in a fever dream because I kept getting impatient about the plot dragging on but needing to know exactly what happens next. I genuinely can't remember if I even watched it all the way through but for some reason it feels like time stopped in that moment when I did. Maybe this year I will finally revisit it fully and remember how it felt to be envelopped by the story so deeply.

What can you tell us about the incident between white and iridescence that resulted in an eye being gouged out?

Mother was talking about her life at one point, It was a reaction to learning that Mother was dating an organic at the time. A fight broke out after an arguement and at some point white dug her nasty black claws into Iridescence's eyesocket and tear at it. Mother is... Not happy about her eye ripping, to this day. She tightened every treaty between them with a vice-like grip... It was the first time I learned her lovers name, too. I heard her yelling

"You're ruining your purity with this disgusting organic, Iride--"

"Don't you DARE talk about Melissa like that!"

...That name gave me everything my heart needed to go after Kalix and Alesia. Im sorry she got her eye ripped out, But im severely greatful for what happened that day.

It's quite possibly the root cause of my greatest joy, the man and woman I love.
