For those of you who don’t know, I’m a diehard University of Michigan fan. I lived 5 minutes from the stadium while completing my residency and fellowship training at the University of Michigan. One of the greatest speeches I’ve ever heard came from Bo Schembechler in 1983. Bo was the head football coach at Michigan from 1969-1989 compiling a record of 194-48-5. In 21 years at Michigan, his teams won or shared 13 Big Ten Conference titles. With him, it was never about individual accomplishments. It was always about teamwork. 🙌🏼 I have thought about this quote a lot lately, because i have received so many positive comments about our team lately. Prominent ears is a problem that is often thought to affect children. However, macrotia (the medical term for large ears) or prominotia (the medical term for prominent or protruding ears), can cause feelings of self-consciousness or insecurity in adults as well. 😰 This patient always felt self-conscious about her ears. She never wore her hair back or would wear a hat to cover the ears. 👂 She decided to have the ears set back.
