♡New Fraggle Rock Ship: GOKEY!!!♡

♡okay, if you're going to understand where i'm coming from with this, you have to hear me out♡

♡i know most people so far in the fraggle rock fandom really like "gobo x red" and "red x mokey," but just hear me out. i can't really speak on "back to the rock" as i sadly don't have apple tv :(, but i found that gobo and mokey have some surprising chemistry in the original show♡

♡in episode 122 (season 1, episode 22) "mokey's funeral," after mokey just got done hearing her friends teasing her behind her back (without mean intentions of course), she expresses her disappointment in them, but she adds "even Gobo," as though she was expecting him to be the last fraggle to make fun on her. that told me that mokey had different expectations for gobo that she didn't have for the rest of the fraggle five♡

♡also, in the same episode when gobo and red attends mokey's "funeral," while red says "i never did tell her how much i really did like her poetry," gobo says "i never got to tell her...so many things." like, gee, gobo. "so many" is a lot. what didn't you get to tell her? hmm?🤨♡

♡also, in episode 124 (season 1, episode 24) "New Trash Heap in Town," gobo and mokey share a fricking duet together about helping each other out and everything. it was so cute!!! also at the end, mokey put her flower crown on gobo's head and ran off giggling, with gobo being embarrassed. that was just too cute🧡🩷🧡🩷🧡🩷♡

♡there are some smaller but still cute moments in season one, such as the show seemingly making an emphasis on how much gobo "likes" mokey's poems and mokey bragging about how brave gobo is in an admirable tone in one of the episodes♡

♡it's okay if you don't see my vision. i just think this is all very interesting, and i wouldn't doubt someone on the henson team shipped gobo and mokey together and tried to slip some crumbs in the show♡

♡i don't want to start any wars with any "gobo x red" or "red x mokey" shippers. this is just my analysis of the two, and it's okay if you don't agree♡
