I'm not great at writing yet since I've only been doing it for roughly 6-ish years so this will be mostly WIP gabbing and OC brainrot.

(I'm currently working on a masterdoc for all my WIPs as well as WIP and character intros!)

My main two stories (with names) currently are:

The Dark Place

A teen dystopian sci-fi where a government will buy children from poor families to experiment on them for militaristic purposes. Members of their experiments, however, have slowly been breaking out of their testing facilities over the last 8 years and how slowly been building a resistance called The Dark Place.

Main Characters: Pipe (Peter) Darling, Solstice Basara, Jace Ivord, Caroline Darling, Forrest Addison

This one is a joint work with a friend of mine!

Westwood

Set far in the future, the entire solar system has been conquered by humanity. Anywhere and everywhere is capable of being traveled to. For triplets Violet, Bell, and Senna Carter, however, they've been stuck on Mars for as long as they can remember. But when their father gets a new job as a biological history professor at the mysterious (and private) Westwood University in New America on Earth, they get the chance to leave just in time for their freshman year of college.

Violet, struggling through the first semester of college, meets Talia Maitra-West, her English tutor, and also the granddaughter of the Dean.

Senna, known for his graffiti murals on Mars, finds himself ostracized in his traditional art classes until he meets the mysterious Corbyn at a party one night, a body modification apprentice in the nearby college town.

Bell, goes missing right after spring break.

When the police entirely unhelpful, Violet and Senna decide to go on the hunt for themselves.

I love coming up with names for characters and doing long and intensive research on their names, anyway here's my evil man named Forrest Addison that had very little thought put into it

Gripping your chest because where your heart once was is nothing but a hole and you deserve it but by god if you won't try to get it back and fail every time

Young Forrest Addison ramblings I can't stop thinking about him at 22

He has the most Atticus Finch energy to the point a friend looked at my Pinterest board for him and said he had that energy and I was jumping up and down

He's an avid party boy I adore him for it

Wire rimmed glasses I can't stop thinking about them (slut glasses)

He is as into men as Pipe is and it also isn't a secret this is where they overlap because I like to think of Pipe and Solstice as Forrest and Casey if they were healthy :(

Nepo baby working in minor politics under his dad Grant Addison but he hates it, esp bc his dad's politics are clearly anti lgbt (he ends up taking this stance on when he takes over for his dad and the self hatred I keep daydreaming about is just delicious)

He's dressed like a 50s businessman I can't stop thinking about that like you're a fucking businessman I love you please walk around in your beautiful suit and talk about mccarthyism (this isn't set in the 50s)

I just feel like I adore how he wants to live his life while he's young because he knows it's going to have to come to an end in the future, he knows his future is taking over his father's position as dictator of Sarenes and he wants to use as much of the time he has before that enjoying it

Tl;dr Forrest was a slutty slutty slutty man when he was young and he wanted to live his life out well before he had to give it up and I find it tragic and beautiful and I adore him

When he goes from a playboy twink who kisses many men and going to parties and doesn't take his job seriously, to a hardworking man trying to impress his father while madly in love with his bodyguard, to a crazed dictator who took his father's place. Slowly having been radicalized his father and his job until he became a manic obsessed with the control and surveillance of his people like his father was. Until he hates anyone for being different, including himself, until he can't look at himself without disgust. And he doesn't even realize it until it's far too late.
