Everything Great About a Match: Brendan Byers v Forrest Taylor (Bgeast.com)

Everything Great About this Match: +8

SPOILER ALERT: I highly recommend viewing this match in its entirety before reading this post.

So let's begin:  +1: For the chemistry and banter between the two.  I love a good trash talk and warm up before the match. 

Just look at massive Brendan compared to Forrest. Forrest: "You look taller and stronger online."

Oh Forrest, you will regret those words.  

+1: Brendan the heel.  Good call whoever put these two together.  A pro heel like Brendan knows how to handle his jobber and Forrest practically begs to be dominated in each match I've seen him in.  

+1: The beard handle.  Pulling your opponent around by his beard has got to be in the top ways to humiliate him.  Also love the transition to a forced bicep worship.  The domination keeps on piling up for Forrest.

+1: Three over the knee backbreakers in a row.  Forrest doesn't even register as competition from here on out and is merely a plaything to be tossed around.  At this point, Brendan is just showing off.

+1: For toying with your jobber.  If you've read my post about how to heel like a pro, then you know how essential toying with your jobber can be in putting him in his place.  

To go from something unbelievable like this.  

To this.  Brendan wants to show Forrest that he stands no chance against him. 

+1: For all the muscle worship scenes.  What better way to prove you own your jobber than making him worship you.

+1: This variation on a tombstone.  I'm speechless and this deserves a bonus point [+1] for it's creativity and focus on the humiliation.  There is no coming back from something like this.  Even if Forrest were to somehow win the match (which he doesn't), this ball faced tombstone has forever marked him.

So there you have it.  This is an instant classic and I don't levy that praise lightly.  This match has it all: Domination, humiliation, feats of strength, and a surprise tombstone that I vote should be Brendan's new finishing move.  Who's with me?  Speaking of Brendan, the guy completely commands Forrest and has him every which way; there is simply no stopping him.  Forrest does excel in his jobber role however, I will always have a weakness for Brendan, the alpha heel that completely eclipses all wrestlers in his vicinity.

Everything Great About: Ring Singlets 1 - Forrest Taylor v Jesse Suave

Everything Great About this Match: +5

SPOILER ALERT: I highly recommend viewing this match in its entirety before reading this post.

So let's begin: 

+1: For the newbie, Jesse Suave.  The guy is rocking a tight, sexy, smooth body.  Billed at 5'11" and 170 pounds, he definitely knows how to show himself off.  

+1: Both wrestlers look like they have good chemistry together and both of them want to be there instead of going through the motions. Frankly, some other matches has the newbie looking uncomfortable to be in the ring and while he doesn't look as practiced as a Jonny Firestorm (who does really), he looks good and feels like this is rapidly becoming his element.  

+1: I also love that this match has some Pro wrestling slams and splashes incorporated throughout.  I've really missed some of these moves in matches and I'm glad to see them for a change as opposed to matches heavy on the holds and heavy petting.  

+1: A point for this scene in the match is warranted.  Jesse trapped in the corner and forced to show off every inch of that amazing body.  

[Forrest] "Not so tough now, huh?"

+1: For Jesse turning up the heat.  He just looks like a winner here.  I'm not expert here but Forrest hasn't appeared in many pro matches and this was a good try for him as well.  The end however, there was no stopping the overwhelming strength and skills of Jesse.

So there you have it.  This was a great start for Jesse and I'm looking forward to see him develop further.  His body is on point, I loved his pro strikes and holds, and he just looked like he put some effort into this and wanted to put on a good performance.  Forrest played the part of a solid jobber but ultimately I had all eyes on Jesse and his breakout debut.
