Happy Birthday to this handsome yet quarantined beyond his liking fella right here @blum4307 ! For some of us introverts this condition can be pretty ok sometimes, but not this extraordinary extrovert! Yet this man so loves his family and neighbors he endures his captivity with little fuss. He would rather be ministering to prisoners or greeting people at a door or having group time with his buds, but he complies- which is not his forte by any stretch ! He has even learned how to #zoom ! Like the sign says we love MB and he is a special man who with a heart for service and one of my personal heroes. #Easter flashback to that time when I made the Easter baskets into a scavenger hunt through the power of goofy clues for each child. All those years ago I wasn’t the greatest at understanding the true meaning of Easter or what was sacrificed for us all. Luckily, I got a little of that each Easter when my wife’s family brought me to their church and then later our friends did to theirs until we finally found a church home of our own in #Summerville #southcarolina . Sometimes you need a place where you can belong before you believe. If that is your case, this is a great time to sample all the online services at the many churches around this world making them available. Ours has one at live.ashleyridgechurch.org 10 am Sundays. Why not start this Sunday? When we can all walk in somewhere again, try one you liked online in person. Meet some of the people you chatted with online in person. Here’s something I didn’t know - that kept me away - You don’t have to believe everything EXACTLY the same way everyone else does before you tune in online or walk in !! In fact, we all vary in many ways in the precise way we believe and interpret things- what?! I thought I had to become a mindless robot to follow! That was far from the case. That said, the most important things are clarified for us and are commonly understood by the many - Love God and Love One Another.
