Wow. I’ve never been this close to a major incident happening. For all of you who don’t know, I’m at Fort Sam Houston, just a couple hours from Fort Hood. I saw what happened while I was at the gym actually. Most people thought they were just replaying footage from the 2009 shooting, until they actually paused and watched. I’m at work right now, and as soon as we got here they warned us of what may happen. Such as getting patients from Fort Hood and sending blood products to help. Surprisingly we haven’t gotten anyone. That could always change of course, if a patient starts going downhill over there, but I really thought we would have gotten some. My thoughts and prayers are out there to the family and friends of the victims. Such a sad situation
