I also have to say that MAC concealer is literally the best. I would swear by it. It covers the dark circles under my eyes, red spots, etc. All I use is a SMALL amount of it, and it works fabulously!

I have a few questions about keeping kosher. I know you're not supposed to mix meat with dairy, but how long does a person wait to eat one or the other? My family is having a hodgepodge of food today for Thanksgiving, and there's a lot of meat and a lot of dairy, and I haven't told my parents anything about me converting yet.

hi! i’m unsure how much you know, so i’m erring on the side of over-explanation - i’m sorry if it comes off patronising.

you do not wait if the milk product is first and the meat second, you just eat or drink something parev (neither meat nor milk) to clean your mouth. you wait between meat and dairy, though. the reason for this is that meat can get caught in the teeth, and also fat from it lingers (for this reason, you should also wait between cheese that has been aged more than 6 months and meat). 

okay for waiting between meat and dairy, the thing you are meant to do is to keep your family’s minhag (custom). obviously, this is not possible for converts. dutch jews keep an hour, and most ashkenazim keep three hours, though some keep six EDIT apparently Russian Jews keep six and German Jews keep three but no-one allows them at the same meal.

i would strongly recommend that you eat vegetarian if possible, because meat that has not been slaughtered in a kosher way, with shechitah, is not kosher anyway.
