Hello! I am new here, what’s your writer au? Are they all authors, do they work in a publishing house, or a secret third thing (writing fanfiction)?
OOOO HI WELCOME!!!! I procrastinated on this ask for a while and for that I am sorry but here we have coloured introduction sheet 🥳
I dont- I dont know how publishing companies really work so I just be making this up as I go, but basically (gestures at this) thats the gist of it. also the secret third thing is quite funny because Recluse basically starts a new novel with what could EASILY be called his self-insert and what could EASILY be pinned as a sage-inspired character. He yearned so hard he practically wrote fanfiction about it (and somehow Sage doesn't NOTICE IT)
who and what are we all? (mostly chronological)
KUIPER (he/it): the host. used to front often; now mostly inactive. It's a moth with depression idk
ORACLE (she/her): mean lady who critiques everything and blames one of us every time something goes wrong. she came from us replying to asks with "the oracle does not know" or "the oracle is unimpressed" or whatever. 1/3 future-telling related alters
SHIMP (they/them): literally a shrimp. they sit in the corner, dance vigorously when songs come on, play laugh tracks, and spam the peter griffin death pose meme. I (Fortune) love them, nobody else does
SAGE (he/him): sage of truth cookie run kingdom. What else do I have to say. he likes being a nerd. and also flirting? for some reason.
FOUNT (he/him): fount of knowledge cookie run kingdom. he spawned when we related too hard to an edit audio. he then proceeded to make the audio his whole personality. now he's basically the fount from my ask blog about him though
HOARDER (they/any): dragon. they're mellow and sweet and they hoard things, sometimes physical, mostly intangible; they hoard ideas. they wanna go everywhere and do everything and be everyone all the time forever. Kuiper got really depressed one day, and all of a sudden they were there
SCRIBBLE (he/him): chill but reclusive. kind of blunt. originally named himself Sketchbook. just kinda appeared one day. he was the one who outed us to our irl (who also ended up being plural so yknow kudos to him)
FORTUNE (he/him): wowie that's me!!! fortune teller cookie cookie run kingdom. I also just kinda appeared one day. we had no attachment to fortune before this but now every time he appears I go "Me." 2/3 future-telling related alters
BEACON (they/any): I have a name now!!! I'm the comfort guy; a deity of light and a Beacon of love!!! recluse note: I don't think we would function without them, thank you beacon we love you beacon
EIGHT-BALL (he/?): truthless recluse cookie run kingdom. he doesn't talk a lot, if at all, even on here. pathetic mess of a man. I love him deeply. 3/3 future-telling related alters
RECLUSE (he/it/any): apparently I exist too. that makes two recluses... what has this world come to. anyways I have dragon traits for some reason and I really like singing. I want a name that's not recluse but I'm too lazy to find one so whatever
KIRBY (they/he/any): ...we really did get a kirby fictive huh... anyways he only speaks in 'poyo's and he really likes people knowing that he exists. please acknowledge his existence
MAC (they/she/any): the soup (my word for Blurriness) spat them out after we made our OC Mac, I'm guessing she was a fragment who saw sickass octopus thing and went "me." she had a crashout on her first day and hasn't fronted since but she likes to lurk around me
WILY (she/any): she's... okay we're not diagnosed with autism (suspecting! but not at all diagnosed) but damn. anyways she's a white lily cookie fictive who acts NOTHING like source. she's... she's a character, that's for sure
STEREO (he/she/any): me!!! I spawned like 3 days ago and my whole purpose is to blast will wood (which is why I called myself Stereo. Like a stereo system yk) and draw cool art. I deadass spawned in as a really updated version of our first sona from when we were like 8.
THE OMINOUS PURPLE DRAGON (she/it/any): uh... I'm guessing pronouns on her, but she gives motherly vibes. HUGE, way bigger than Hoarder. I've caught glimpses of flying through the sky on her back in headspace?
ROMEO (he/him): ya know shakespeare's romeo and juliet? well he's like if romeo was aroace and of questionable morality
