Saw these stats online and they stood out to me. They also reminded me of a presentation I recently gave on budgeting. The participants seemed divided on including your spouse/significant other in on financial decisions. We put important topics to the side because they are uncomfortable. I say embrace the un-comfort and see how much closer you become! See my parents dynamic is man pays bills woman takes care of home. I’ve tried to break that mindset in my home and yes it’s hard. But to me what’s harder is if I’m no longer there I’ve left my partner lost with no navigation. And it’s completely troubling in a time of loss we rather leave bills and debt than a lifeline to help them remain in a home you’ve built or keep the kids on the same education plan. If you haven’t had your insurance plan reviewed this year there’s still time. If you haven’t heard from your insurance agent maybe you should reach out. Or have me do it for you. I have the information but the choice is yours. #fortunecapital #insurance #LIAM #financialliteracy #financialfreedom #financialplanning (at New York, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/BohQxf9B1-a/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1gr1ijrrvi8oh
