#fossil identification

looking for some help with some rocks ive found! this is from a rocky beach that is lush with fossils, mostly like the ones in the first picture. i know what those are, but the other two have me super excited. the cracked egg looking rock looks like it could be split and may have something inside - but its the sandstone striated beast im the most interested in. could it be a bed of tiny ammonites? might it also have something worth splitting it for? should i get these bad boys cracked open??

Im currently out in the woods for rock and fossils. Just visited this rocky boulder pile with many medium sized flints. Found an mussel!!

Any suggestions of knowing to which brachiopode this shell inprint in chert belongs ?

Calling all people who know more about identifying fossiles🗣️!!

Is this a fossil? Found on the side of a road on a walk. There is a river nearby. I’m not sure if it is or not. Circled it to show what I’m talking about. It has small groove lines that curve, reminds me of a shell. Tried to clean it to see it better but it’s the best I got.

I also didn’t find any other markings similar on this rock.

Could be wrong but thought I’d ask for opinions 🙇

is there anyone out there with some premium fossil/geology autism who can save me from asking reddit about my cool rocks? i don't know what any of these are...

they could literally be nothing they just have nice shapes and textures....... picked up along the Jurassic Coast in the UK! i also have some very soft claylike ammonites which I'm trying to keep safe lol

I’ve been yapping with my mutual about this for ages and need to finally play catch up. Some things may appear twice (as in they showed up in the last post) because I’ve reorganized how I’m holding these.

@thebrokenmechanicalpencil- I’m sharing finally.

But! I’ve had a good few days hunting. Im going to need to split what I have into a couple posts.

We have some sharks teeth and various shells.

These are the same things. One has my quarter for comparison the other has actual photo quality. But sea robin skulls. Specifically the… Neuro something or whatever. Brain plate.

We have ray and pufferfish mouth plates and some vertebrae. The first two are fragments but that last small one is whole! It was a really cool find!

Fossilized snails (and fragments) and some fossilized sea urchins! I know the black one looks… odd, but after close inspection I was able to ID it. You just can’t see it very well on camera

shells? mammal teeth? having trouble identifying what i found

i was on a coastal trip in kent last week and visited multiple beaches. these items i found in folkestone, all around the same rockpool area.

at first i thought the biggest piece might be something like a scallop shell trace fossil but then i found the others which have these ridges intact that seem to deep for any shell that i know by name??

then i thought maybe it's some mammalian teeth because of the general shape of some of these but because of how prominent the ridges are that seems unlikely.

it might be something entirely else and i just have no idea but it's definitely something.

any ideas?
