Don't mind me, just advertising my fanfiction <3
Click here if you just want to give it a go on Ao3
Here's a Wattpad version if it's better for you
Anyways, it's a CoD Superhero AU with a gender neutral reader insert :D
BUT there's no Character x Reader because you're a minor whose new foster parents happen to be Simon and Johnny
You're also secretly an outlaw, using your power illegally just for fun, until Makarov escapes and you get involved in his shit even though you don't want to.
So now you have to prove that you don't know Makarov, escape from heroes like Ghost, Soap, Price, etc. and try to be a good kid in your foster home, not knowing that you live with superheroes who you hate (it's not the plot twist)
It contains fluff, hurt/comfort, angst it's literally just a comfort fic
Thank you if you take a look at it! <33

Just a little tidbit to celebrate the non closure of BuckTommy this week
It’s not the first time they've been woken up by the baby monitor coming to life with cries, but these cries? They feel different, and they both stand up to go to Noah’s room. Tommy is the first one inside, Buck almost hitting the wall when they both jumped off the bed at the sudden cries, losing a few seconds to get his bearings back.
Noah’s mouth is wide open and the most gut wrenching cries are leaving it, Buck wants to cry immediately, crowding Tommy as he picks up Noah from the bed and hug him to his chest, asking Noah what is going on, knowing well that their boy can’t answer it but still trying either way, lizard brain taking over.
Franchaela being wardens (the foster parents of that time) to John II and Janet II, let's say as nephews of Queen Charlotte in the Regency era could be a possible option for Queen Charlotte to be close to the Bridgertons and to Francesca in particular after she rejected the offer of marrying Lord Samadani.
Also, that way Franchaela could be together without problem being aided by the Queen if Michaela is a spy for the Crown as I had suggested before.
And if in the end Kilmartin goes back to the crown, Franchaela is immortalized in history as a great aid for the Queen and that they were honored by the royal court and the next heir: one of the illegitimate grandchildren of QC is grateful towards Franchaela.
I went up the chain to try to figure out why I still haven’t been reopened for foster care.
I got some half-answers, which is better than no answer and pretty typical of foster care.
Apparently I have to be approved by licensing again. And licensing for my area is supposed to have 5 social workers — 3 recently quit so they are down to 2 workers trying to license the whole district, which is insane.
I was licensed for close to 10 years and closed for 4 months, so the fact that I have to go through licensing again seems a little wasteful. I pre-did all the updated paperwork (they haven’t even requested it yet) and sent it over a month ago. They literally just need to send someone to look at my home.
The fact that they have only 2 social workers licensing our district….
They are having kids sleep in the office, drive all the way across the state (and back again the next day), and more.
I have friends who are over capacity and struggling and being begged to take even more kids and it may honestly be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, foster care wise. They’re going to lose good homes.
They should be prioritizing licensing!
A foster dad tried to keep his son from running off and becoming an adventurer by getting him into his hobby of wildlife photography.
