Trigger Warning: Real Murder & Death + Mention of Medical Issues & Abuse
My parents believe that my grandpa was murdered.
Or at the very least, deliberately left to die.
He was living with another family member (NOT his wife, a family member) before he died due to mysterious problems with his body, mainly his legs. (I say "mysterious" because every time he went to the doctor, they said he was fine. They couldn't figure out the causes behind his complications.)
The paramedics said that he died at 3:00 today, my time. Around which hour I was chilling on this very website, probably chatting with a moot.
It is now 36 minutes after 5:00 where I am as I write this.
That's a little over 2 hours.
The family member my grandfather was living with failed to contact ANYONE.
She didn't call either of his daughters (my mother and my aunt), any other family member, OR the authorities. She also has a history of elder abuse and neglect, which my mother has reported her for once before.
Whatever that family member said to the authorities, my mother has a STRONG suspicion that she is lying.
Don't even ask me how I feel right now.
I don't know.
