Hi Lily,

Thank you so much for your letter. It's so nice to hear from you again and... words can't describe how happy I am to know you're still here! Oh my gosh, what a beautiful young woman you've become!

A scream of pain blasted behind them, and Nesta whirled at the end of the bridge to find Gwyn still on the other side with an arrow through her thigh. Down. Too close to the males closing in—

“CUT IT!” Gwyn roared.

There’s something devastatingly heartbreaking and tragic about this moment, even more so after you learn about Gwyn's past.

Gwyn’s silence and refusal to give up the children’s location when Hybern soldiers attacked the temple of Sangravah two years prior cost her Catrin’s (her twin sister) life and the brutality (TW: SA) Gwyn experienced next. Yet in this moment, when the safety of her newfound sisters were at risk, Gwyn was ready to risk it all again for Nesta & Emerie, knowing what would happen once the males reached her, what they were capable of.

The courage and bravery Gwyn displayed in the midst of this terrifying moment is one of the many reasons why I adore her and her friendship with Nesta & Emerie. Her loyalty knows no bounds. ❤️❤️❤️

Emerie Week - Day 2

Friendship

My favorite trio all dolled up. 🥰🥰🥰

I went into ACOSF eager and ready for the angst and romance but this friendship took me by the storm and swept me off my feet. When Emerie was introduced in ACOFAS, I knew she was going to be an important person to Nesta and the moment Nesta stepped into her shop, I had the chills. I absolutely adored the dynamics between Emerie, Nesta & Gwyn and the beautiful friendship that bloomed out of it.  

Big shout out to Talita for another job well done! She was a pleasure to work with, as always. Please go and show her some love. ❤️

Whether it was intentional or not, I loved that the next person after Cassian to literally reach out her hands to Nesta was Emerie. Their friendship is soo damn beautiful and wholesome. 🥺😭💜
