I absolutely love this photograph from 1893 showing four generations of Diven men. Civil War General Alexander S. Diven (1809-1896) is seated on the left holding his great grandson Alexander S. Diven III (1893-1933). Standing next to him is the baby's father, Eugene Diven (1865-1911), and seated is the baby's grandfather, George M. Diven (1834-1909).
