Oh, I watched recently (as in, I was already an adult) so it was pretty cringey for me. Especially Episode II lmao. But yeah, it had a cohesive story and I bet that because of this crappy recent trilogy, people will re-watch it with renewed fondness (much to George Luca's delight LOL). Poor John Boyega, he was such a Star Wars fan tho.

Well I like Ewan McGregor and lightsaber battles so im easy to please lmao. Like Qui-Gon + Obi wan vs Darth Maul in Ep 1? Epic with epic music. Finally seeing yoda in action in Ep 2 vs Dooku? Good good. All the other fights in Ep 2? nice. And of course, peak excellence, Anakin vs Obi-wan in Ep 3 (honorable mention to obi-wan vs general grievous, partially because I like to hear “general kenobi” lmaooo)

I think I watched a review where they compared to Episode I to III trilogy, where they said that it was bad, really bad, but at least it had an objective. This trilogy didn't have such thing.

tbh, Miss Four, I’ve never thought of the prequels as that bad. I’m biased tho because i grew up with them. Still, i just did a rewatch of episodes 1-6 and yeah, 1-3 are pretty clunky but at least they tell a mostly cohesive story. Like you said, they have an objective. This trilogy has no point...
