Four Islands
Still sore from the climbing, we decided to skip the kayaking today and join a longboat tour of four nearby islands instead.
The first island was apparently shaped like a chicken (?). I didn't notice any chicken shapes, but it was nice for swimming.
The second island was a snorkeling stop. No footage because we didn't bring the GoPro, but there were lots of beautiful fish, including bicolor parrot fish, Moorish idol fish, and some kind of sea snake.
At the third island, we got caught in a tropical storm and had to dock longer than planned. My favorite kind of delay! We took our time exploring and taking stormy, broody photos.
There was an incredible sunset.
The last island was another snorkeling stop to see glow-in-the-dark plankton. Being in the ocean after dark was trippier than the plankton. No footage of that either, so instead, here's some footage from back at the resort. This monkey almost peed on me!
