Oooh, that would be awesome! >w< And don't worry, I've only known about Ran for a few weeks, ever since I got into DC. So it'll be fine, a leerning curve for both of us!
Wild Hair Color | (Yotsuba&! Yachiru)
Yotsuba's excitement could not be quelled as she walked hand-in-hand with her father as he dropped her off at her school, Ouran Academy. It was her first year starting at this new place, and she was eager to explore every nook and cranny, meet every person, and do everything to make the most of her day. She was the type of person to be easily entertained, and today was particularly special, given that her daddy had made curry and packed some for her lunch today.
Yotsuba loved curry.
Getting in after waving goodbye to her father, she noticed a new girl in her already small class. What drew her attention in particular was the girl's bright pink hair.
If there was anything Yotsuba could identify with, it was having 'unique hair' as many other people she had met liked to point out, so she took interest in people and finding the things that make them unique as well. Immediately she wanted to get to know whoever it was, but the bell rang before she could say or do anything.
Was she going to stay in her class? She looked a little older than her, maybe it was the look in her eyes or something...regardless, she looked nice. The little green-haired girl was positively itching for a chance to talk to the new girl.
Soon enough, the teacher lady had the girl go up and introduce herself to the class. Her name, she said, was Yachiru. Hmmm. It was definitely something she had never heard before!
Class went by quickly, and after snack time, where Yotsuba had to physically restrain herself from digging into her delicious curry lunch, recess was called.
Finally! She could stretch her legs and enjoy the nice weather. The summer months were winding down, so the air had a cool, refreshing quality to it. It was perfect for playing outside!
In the corner of her eye, Yotsuba saw a flash of pink.
It was her! Yachiru!
She followed her classmate around the corner, pretending she was a spy, sticking close to the wall of the building as she tailed her target. She was laughing behind her little hand the whole time, wildly curious about where this girl could possibly be going.
She totally felt like a stealth master!
Just then, the little clover got distracted as a squirrel rushed past, darting up a nearby tree like quiksilver. In the moment Yotsuba took her eyes off Yachiru, the girl disappeared!
"Uwah! Where'd she go?" she blurted out in her surprise. Running to the last place she had spotted Yachiru before the mysterious vanishing act, she noticed something that looked suspiciously like a secret entrance near some secluded bushes. The displaced leaves and grass in the area revealed what looked like a doorway. Hmmm....
Happy Birthday!!
Thank you so much♥♥
Protective Instincts
Today is not my day. This whole week for that matter. Kenpachi thought as he stood on the sidewalk perpendicular to the Rikugien Garden. His employer had cut his paycheck in half today due to the lack of incidents this week. Kenpachi had been doing temporary work as a mercenary and body guard, he couldn't help it if there was nothing to guard against. Stingy bastards. Whatever, I could use a little R&R to figure things out.
Walking to the entrance of the Garden, Kenpachi paid the small fee. It wasn't too bad and it was a very peaceful spot; perfect spot for him to be able to just sit down and relax. This was like a garden inside of a garden; everything was so tranquil and at ease. The sight was relaxing in it of itself! Finding the nearest bench that overlooked a small pond, Kenpachi laid down; one knee bent up while the other leg was spread out taking up the entire bench. Folding his arms over his head to use as a pillow he closed his eyes and just let his mind drift.
The smooth sounds of the water flowing, and the wind blowing through the bushes and rustling the leaves was a welcomed experience. This was worth the small entrance fee. Now what to do.... I still haven't located my target yet in which I was assigned by old man Yamamoto, but that is of little importance right now... I need to find a better job, but where? Where can I go that won't be a pain in the ass? As he thought about these trivial questions, he heard a slight disturbance not too far from where he lay. Who the hell can be making this racket in such a peaceful spot.. how annoying....
Standing up and peering over in the distance, Kenpachi noticed a few kids yelling and pointing at a smaller child. Feeling annoyed at his peace being disturbed, he decided to head over there to get them to shut up; he was not about to let another thing go south today, not when he was finally able to relax a bit. That just wont do.
Reaching the area, Kenpachi noticed the kids were not simply just shouting and disturbing the peace, but were picking on a small kid, no older than 5 or 6 by the looks of her.... They were pointing and shouting obscenities that he has never heard kids of that age use. Hearing and witnessing this, Kenpachi couldn't help but think of Yachiru. She was still in the Seireitei, and he did miss his little friend who had no issue in walking up to him all those years ago...
Snapping back to reality, he stepped forward behind the two kids shouting at the smaller child knocking them both over in the process. Reaching his giant hand down, he offered it to the small child with green hair. "Get up, you wont be bothered by these two anymore." Looking over his shoulder at the two bullies with a malevolent look in his eye while holding a protective stance over his new ally, he simply spoke: "Scram." The two kids were horrified; the giant battle worn man was very intimidating and they did not want to stick around to see what was going to happen. Not with that look in his eye! They ran off in a hurry, falling down a few times as they tripped over each others feet!
Looking back at the small child, he spoke once more. "I am Kenpachi Zaraki, I hope I didn't frighten you."

11: Intellectual pursuits?
Yotsuba hasn’t really considered much as far as intellectual pursuits, given that she is s creature of the moment. She is, however, fascinated by the nature around her, so I can see her pursuing something like entomology or botany…something to that effect anyway.
27: What is their biggest regret?
She lives her little life to the fullest, and so she has few regrets. Her biggest one might have been letting her father’s friend, Yanda, distract her with candy to enter her house. He has been a thorn in her side ever since.
31: Most prized possession?
Definitely her teddy bear, Duralumin.
7: Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?
She is more emotional in her decision-making, since she tends to go with what she feels like doing or with her mood.
