Deja Entendu
Layla was still frowning as she walked along the road. How on earth was she going to find someone she'd only seen once? Never mind who'd worn a mask. It wasn't like she had a little marker that told her exactly where she needed go, after all.
The only thing anyone had anything to go one was "maybe South Vegas." Very helpful. But if Mr. Mask had been burning down building and if it was happening enough that the NCR wanted Layla to check on it, someone must have seen him around. The courier would take a quick look around on her own, then maybe she'd see if Isfet would look around with her. He might even know something about it.
Sometimes it was frustrating agreeing to help people. Sometimes the courier regretted how quickly she'd worked to accomplish things when she got to the Mojave. People expected her to just immediately solve problems when honestly she'd just lucked out on solutions. It wasn't like there was some big obvious sign in the clouds...
Layla stopped when she looked up at the sky: there was a dark, billowing cloud. One that led to what appeared to be a burning building. Shaking her head, she started off in a jog towards the big obvious sign in the clouds.
