#fourth cup

Someone that I just realized and that really annoys me:

The Kraft Mac n Cheese box says 4 tablespoons butter, but 1/4 cup milk.

4 tablespoons and 1/4 cup are the same thing.

Why not just say 1/4 cup butter or 4 tablespoons milk? Is it so people think there’s less butter in it??
