i made a mistake. i should have never let them get close. but it was so nice! they were so gentle!

maybe if i wait a bit more.... . . . I love you but i'm scared of loving. I'm scared you're going to hurt me. I'll wait for you and I'll protect you but i dont know if you feel the same way. you're mine, no one else is allowed to be here. unless you say so. I'm stubborn and mean and bark at everyone except you. I only do what you say. but you could hurt me the most if you wanted too. I'll never fully trust you. I'm still an animal. But for now i can love you. I'll sit here and observe from afar. I don't know if you want to hurt me, but i can't stop watching.

to me fox love is very hesitant at first, but once they trust a person they love them a lot. they might seem scared or distant, but they really do love and care. I've seen all sorts of examples of foxes becoming people's pets over time and trying to protect them just like a dog would. to me fox love is similar to dog love, but more hesitant and scared at first. but willing to trust give time.
