The best part of getting older is how many less fucks I give.

I still have many fucks, but I don't give them out as willy nilly as I used to.

Like when writing completely self-indulgent fanfic. I could give fucks about if people like it. But I already know my writing is good and it's the story I want to read. So I don't give fucks. If they want to read my writing, this is what they'll be reading until this story is done.

My hair. Chopped it all off and dyed it blue. Never had really short hair before. Could have been worried about what people would think. But... eh, I don't feel like giving fucks for that. It's my hair and if I don't like it, it will grow back eventually.

My weight. No fucks beyond health and comfort. I'm 42, dude. I carried and birthed a baby. I really don't need to look like I did at 25.

Big fandom discourse. No fucks. I'll watch from the sidelines and chuckle. But it's not going to affect me. So like... okay go on with your whatever. I'm gonna stay here in my tiny old fandom and make these two firemen kiss.
