Best Fit Recordings' FAYE recently recorded a Daytrotter session. I've always been a huge fan of these sessions, which continue to attract some of the best in established, and up and coming music.
Listening to "Water Against The Rocks", it is easy to hear the exceptional quality in FAYE's voice, but the Daytrotter recording shows it off wonderfully, and proves her assurance in singing live; her range is breathtaking, and the stripped-back version will be stuck in your head for as long as the original, I promise you that.
The Scandinavian pop dominance soldiers on, and I for one have absolutely no problem with it - long may it continue. ThisBand play alongside two exciting comparable British artists (Foxes and Syron) in October. I can't bloody wait.
