new book recommendations (PART 2) 💖♥️💖♥️💖♥️💖♥️💖♥️💖♥️💖♥️
(here's PART 2!!!!! Hope y'all like it 😉 *praying that I don't repeat any books*)
1) Caraval by Stephanie Garber
By Caraval, I mean the series too. Honestly, Caraval by itself is a 7-8/10 but the series is 9/10(it gets SO much better at Legendary and Finale 🤩).
2) hmm...since I mentioned Caraval, I'll defo have to mention...
Once Upon A Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber
I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS BOOK! It's coming out soon in September, if I'm not wrong. Guess who's the STAR? Spoiler Alert: It's Jacks (my fav character in the Caraval Series tbh, although he is a little psychotic 🤪😭)!!!!!!!! I'm guessing that Evangeline Fox is the love interest but we'll only know when the book is out, so I'm defo going to check this out ✌️
3) My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
This devastating and poignant book is a must-read for all of the people out there looking for a sad book to cry about :'(
I'm still sad about the realistic ending that shatters my hopes of a denouement that is uncharacteristic of this thing called "life" 😭 but seriously, this book is no joke and I give it a 9.5/10 🌟s
4) Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
AHhhhH THIS. tHIS.
This book is a hell of a ride. Honestly, it could get a little confusing at the beginning because of the many new characters that are introduced, including Nina, Matthias, Kaz, Inej and Jesper but it's worth it. IMHO, this is the best book from Leigh Bardugo, didn't think that Shadow and Bone was good (DARKLINA 4EVER)..
5) Foxlowe by Eleanor Wasserberg
Oh, this. I haven't finished it yet, but it's completely enthralling. I am literally hooked on it but am taking a break because things are getting intense and when I say intense, I mean INTENSE.
The plot mainly revolves around a child in a cult, and this cult is called Foxlowe. From the word "cult", you probably guessed how crazily intense the story is and if you do choose to give this a try, have fun! 😉
6) Kingdom Of The Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco
Seven Deadly Sins.
Hmm.. I read this quite a while ago, maybe 3 months ago in June? Btw, the sequel, Kingdom of The Cursed is coming out soon! It didn't leave much of an impact and I only barely remember the characters' names but I do remember that it was a satisfying read. It got me out of my book hangover after finishing Crooked Kingdom (by Leigh Bardugo) so you might want to read it.
7) To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
Sirenssssssssss. Ooh la la.
🥀💔🎼😏💅
Actually, this was not bad! It wasn't especially amazing or anything but it was a satisfying read, much like Kingdom of the Wicked, except I enjoyed this book more than Kingdom of the Wicked. I'd give the book 3 out of 5 stars, sufficient to get out of a book hangover.
8) ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas
An honest meh.
I got so invested in it, but I found much better books with amazing plots and development so I would give it 2/5 stars??? (please don't come after me for the 2 stars, I enjoy her writing but it became boring after a while)
