That last anon reminds me of my parents two dogs, one is very elderly and has gone mostly deaf and is very very short sighted, he gets a little anxious on walks and has to go very slow, we got a young dog a year go and now they walk side by side so she can guide him and he is so much more relaxed. They sometimes sniff different things but then walk back to bump each others sides as if to reconnect and say ”everything is still okay”.
