Nagi straight up telling Fret that he's human is just so good. It's exactly what he needed to hear, someone else accepts who he is. Someone else doesn't care about how hurt or broken he is beneath the surface. She breaks his issues right down to the core, he tried so hard to be somebody else he forgot how to be human. Seeing the change in him made by (well himself duh but also) Kanons words, she takes advantage of the opportunity to speak to the real him before he can try to put his shields back up. She walks in and from the start of the game immediately becomes the friend he needed rather than the friend he wanted, she's a bit cold and could stand to be a little nicer sure, but on the other side of the wall he's too fake and needs to stop running from his problems. Neither of them are better than the other. And despite this the way the two of them grow is nice. He learns to accept himself and she learns to accept him, and ladies and gentlemen we call that
Growth
