Framed Sentence Starters
One or both of our muses are framed for a crime they did not commit. Ranges from murder, to theft, to whatever you can come up with! As always, these are just a general formula, and pronouns can be changed as needed.
“Now now. Let’s think of this civilly. What proof do you have?”
“Did you really....kill them?”
“You killed my brother!! He was worth so much, and you took his life away from him!! You son of a bitch, I’ll kill you!!”
“So you mean to tell me that you didn’t take the jewels?”
“I didn’t do jack shit!!”
“That’s exactly what you would say if you were guilty!”
“...Don’t take this the wrong way, but you’d probably say that even if you were guilty. I mean, I believe you, but how can I know for certain that I can trust you?”
“I heard they found something of yours at the scene of the crime. That thing that you couldn’t find yesterday?”
“What’s it gonna take for you to believe my innocence?!”
“Right now, everyone thinks you did it. You’re the only one that has a motive.”
“This is just like what happened to Rodger Rabbit!”
“What, you think I broke him outta prison?!”
“Where else did you get that injury?”
“The police have proof against you/us. What are we supposed to do?”
“I can’t go to prison!!”
“I won’t go to prison for something I didn’t do!!”
