I haven't had the time to draw much because of school, so have a collection of random Yokai Watch human characters that I drew as practice at some point

I redesigned Francesca stein to make her 30% more goth!

Behold, our chronically sleep deprived, zombie slaying queen! One of my favorite humans who are aware of yokai, as well as just... an activator of neurons.

Gave her some stylish boots that are marginally more practical then her stilettos, some pins to represent her love of the undead and her unresolved romantic tension with both of the protagonists' parents (I have weird headcanons :3c), a dress she probably stole for a back alley doctor in yongen-jaya, and some goggles for when her research gets messy~!

Also kitted her out with her own yokai watch dream, because it is bizarre that the only adult we see using a yokai watch in this franchise is fucking *Jerry*. (Yeah, Diana said she had one, but she traded it for yokai lenses goggles so it doesn't count.)

Also made a Lil tombstone background!

How Yo-Kai Watch Adults react to Nate transitioning

Turns out, I was hallucinating when I said that Dr. Stein was projecting. BUT!! I do see where I got that idea from.

I interpreted this as maybe her believing that she and Nate were alike, and she kinda hit the nail on the head tbh! Nate has his main group of (human) friends of Katie, Bear, and Eddie but it’s not like they were exceptionally close like any of the other groups you could have interacted with in yokai watch 2 and even they had other friends they hung out with. Then there’s Buck and Hailey which still leaves him at only two other (human) friends. And then she mentions the “creatures from the books she read” which kinda made me assume that Nate had told her/hinted at being able to see yokai and being friends with them so she automatically assumed that he was like her when she was younger and looked for comfort in fantasy books.

And yeah, sure. This IS a common thing for someone with her kind of job to say to a kid. But Nate was helping her already with he research and helped Professor Gately TWICE (and the two know each other so they could have been mentioned how they both had the same apprentice) so it is plausible that she could’ve assumed that Nate was interested in that line of work.

Theres probably more I can’t think of at the moment but I can always make another post when I do remember lol

I usually draw teenagers tbh, so I switched things up and drew my favorite explicitly adult women from this franchise! Goth scientist Francesca Stein and Trans milf Lily Adams.
