3. Who accidentally wears the other’s hat one day?Embleton because he’s a disaster and because David let him borrow it one time so he’s just associated the hat with being able to wear it whenever he wants without thinking about if David might need it. Just grabs it and goes.

8. What would be their dream vacation?Definitely a coastal get away. Not a sailing trip but to somewhere close to/on the beach. They come home with a bag full of shells and feathers and wave worn rocks for Embleton to go through when they get back. David has sand in places no English gentleman can properly talk about. Embleton also gets sunburnt. But they have fun!!

14. What would their wedding look like?Totally funded for by Sir Francis Hall (though somewhat reluctantly). Nothing too lavish. Just something simple to say, “Yes we’re married” since Embleton isn’t into HUGE shows of affection. Also not too much attention since it would be David’s second marriage (mildly scandalous). Probably be attended by David’s friends, Lew, Carruthers, and some other fellows (GRIGGS DO NOT INTERACT, says Em)

♥ - family headcanon

Vesconte is a very family oriented man. He came from a big family (oldest male out of seven kids) so he loves big families and wants a number of children with his future spouse (four is the magic number for him). 

Ever since the broken lands I always picture him having at least three daughters (even if the author confused his genealogy with his father Henry Le Vesconte Sr. cmon man get it together) and he loves them all and wears whatever they make for him (gloves, scarfs, you name it).

Collins also comes from a big family too and he’s incredibly close with his twin brother George who he looks to often for guidance. They’re like two big beefy peas in a pod. When Collins is having a hard time mentally he will pen letters or journal to his brother, trying to imagine what he is up to back home

Oh, this is nice.  Life has been a little rough for us lately as the wife had to go back to Utah temporarily for health reasons, but let’s do some positivity!

I finally get to start testosterone next month, after years of second-guessing myself and trying to make everyone else happy at my own expense.

It’s Dostoevsky’s birthday today, and mine’s coming up on the 21st.  

Venus is almost out of retrograde!  The beautiful bitch of the heavens has been in the underworld since October 5 and I for one am tired of her nonsense.  But it’s nearly over as she turns direct on the 16th.

Henry is happiest in a soft warm bed with a good variety of snacks (fresh biscuits are a must) and tea, while also reading a fresh new book.

There is one variation where he would be happier in this whole scenario and that is him surrounded by his silver haired beauties of daughters who take turns reading to him and having a good time
