hey mf, do you ever regret anything you did, do you still want to go back? to normal?
I've been done with the in-character asks for years now, but this is still a great question!
I'm gonna say...maybe.
He absolutely doesn't regret getting rid of his bosses, he'd consider that his life's biggest accomplishment. (At least that doesn't involve Brock)
But other than that? Weeeeelll he certainly doesn't like having to put Brock under so much pressure and pain but he feels like getting him involved is something that needs to be done. Two guys doing most of the dirty work in the world is better than one, after all.
Not to mention as far as the evil deeds go, sometimes things get hard for him to handle. They say that the first murder is the hardest, but in this case it's the opposite way. Killing the other Doom Lords was like a giant insanity & adrenaline-filled rush, and after that there's this pressure weighing over him because he was kinda in over his head. Being the only Doom Lord can be tiring and he doesn't even want to do anything that evil most of the time, not just because it's a lot of work but also because he's not used to it. He wants to use his new, strange powers to his advantage but doesn't entirely know how to. (This is why it took him this long to return to the Unikingdom)
So when he does something super evil, to him it's like "YAY, I'm the BEST VILLAIN EVER!" but also "Shoot, I can actually DO that...should probably stuff this in the closet."
Hooray for rewriting stuff based on what past you left as canon!
Also roughly 80% of this answer has to do with a big spoiler that I'm not going to share just yet, but will be revealed in time.
