This AU does expand the world of the show, and Unikitty and her friends are still the main characters. However, I don't want Unikitty to be the kind of protagonist who solves everyone's problems and befriends everyone.

Unikitty wants to spread positivity as she always does, and she hopes to see the lands interacting with each other again. But, there are plenty of people that she can't befriend, and the Unigang isn't there to help or save them.

For instance, Broken and Frozen ends with the Unigang NOT befriending Germafrost. Throughout the story, the group learns that they can encourage him to open up about his grief and everything that comes with it. However, that's all they can really do. The rest is up to him. Unikitty offers to be friends with Germafrost during the story and keeps her offer on the table. They do get closer further down the line, but she can't make him be friends with her. It's up to him to decide.

There are other characters who Unikitty and her friends can't really click with, but that's fine. Unikitty is personable and is definitely keeping an eye out for people who may need her help, but she isn't the solution to everything. We get to see the other characters' relationships, and how THEY solve problems, and how THEY stay positive.

What I'm saying here is that I don't want there to be "Unikingdom savior" vibes. Not everything revolves around the Unikingdom, not everything happens in the Unikingdom, and the Unikingdom and Frowntown are not the only places in this world.

Unikitty is not these characters' solution.

Today is Master Frown's birthday, and on this day I usually draw art with its original version. But today I decided that now is a good time to show you my another AU. Its peculiarity is that, unlike Master Jacob, it focuses on Frock, Frowntown and difficult psychology.

Master Frown the President

In this AU, Master Frown is the son of the President (the same blue old man from MJ) and becomes the new president of Frowntown. He grows up a hypocrite and a fan of women, but he always remembered that if he wants to grow up to be a leader and a decent person, he has to be an exemplary boy. He has a lot of friends, but most of all he see Brock as a friend, who helped him and whom he was in love with. But as president, he cannot bring himself to admit this, fearing that he will turn out to be the very bad role model. He's single.

Brock the Judge

When Brock's dad passed away, he helped his mom at the Three Mermaids diner, combining this with law school, which he did not give up in this AU and graduated. At first, he started as a lawyer at Unikingdom, until at some point he become a judge in Frowntown, his father's homeland. There he later begins to live with his roomates Arthur and Daphne (Arthur's fiancee), and then starts a secret affair. Brock is also single, but wears a ring on the ring finger of his left hand to create the feeling that he is married. In real life, he is quite sociable (as in the canon), despite the fact that he wears the uniform of a judge in front of serious people

Actually, there are a little more characters involved in this AU, as well as Unigang a little, but I do not know how often they will appear there, given that we did not see the head of Frowntown in the show itself and why the city bears a similar name to Master Frown.

Did the authors of the show think about Master Frown as the president/mayor of Frowntown earlier?

Random fun fact that no one asked for:

Back when I first made the AU, not too many Frowntown citizens had that much screen time/dialogue other than Crankybeard, or as I knew him then “the old guy who lectured Unikitty & Puppycorn about lines”.  So I felt like Master Frown would totally kill him some time after the Doom Lords.

But then Float On revealed that he was Brock’s dad so I was like “SCRATCH THAT, FROWN WOULDN’T HURT BROCK LIKE THAT!!”
