francesca was not a big fan of text messaging. as a teenager, she’d annoy her friends with the need to make phone calls or to actually meet up because there was no other way to contact her. she dials back the instant she receives the last of the messages.

“baby torch!” her voice is excited as it always is when it came to her sister, “i’m about to go out and get a caramel sundae–weirdest craving, i know–did you want to come? i have to show you the latest ultrasound! bash thinks it looks like a lightsaber. how is that even possible?”

     [ ლ ]—-Troian didn’t even miss a beat in answering her phone the moment her sister-specific ringtone blared out in her room. She knew of her sister’s aversion to texting--and really, she could’ve gone and called her up first, but god knows she already exceeded her credit--but mostly, she was just excited to hear her beloved sister's voice.

“If you’re inviting me!” She sounded as giddy as always, bright and bubbly as her syllables were intertwined with momentary giggles. “And anything can look like a lightsaber to Bash because he’s a nerd.” One could almost hear her pouting beyond the line. “But I’m betting the baby would be cute--the Torch genes are ultra mega strong!”
