This plate is gorgeous, though I have to hunt down a bunch of those tiny hearing aid batteries In order to get it to play MOTN allegedly. Incredibly 1980s
My favorite piece of my Kennedy collection! This is the Franklin Mint Heirloom Jacqueline Kennedy Bride Doll + JFK and his wedding fit. I bought them a couple weeks ago for around a $100 and got them Saturday!! I really love the Franklin Mint Jackie dolls and the details are just insane. I can’t get over the veil and her jewelry! I remember my grandma having Franklin Mint Jackie and JFK dolls displayed and I always thought Jackie was gorgeous so I’m glad to have a doll of my own :)

This is my latest Franklin Mint doll! The ballerina in the front - based on a very well known photo of Marilyn taken by Milton Greene in 1954.
These aren’t all of my Franklin Mint dolls. I have 6 others. But I thought this one would look best here. These dolls are probably my most favorite “Marilyn items” that I own. They aren’t cheap unless you get very, VERY lucky. Tbh this one had a price you don’t see too often (although I still shouldn’t have bought it but I just couldn’t pass it up!)
There’s different styles of the dolls. My favorite is the style of dolls behind the new doll. But I still hope to have all of them one day. And idk if you guys know who Jean Norman is…but he makes the most stunning, customized Marilyn dolls. So much detail. He is extremely talented. I hope to own at least one in my lifetime.
As usual, I went on a ramble. But…ya, this is my new doll!!
