Okay so I completely watched the latest game theory video about Welcome Home and even though I still think it leans too much into the "character is actually evil" territory, it does ultimately does understand the narrative going on.

As much as I feel suspicious of Home I don't agree that Home is the one terrorizing the neighbors, I think it's more complicated than that. I don't agree that Wally was jealous of Frank talking to Home (although I do agree that I think Specimen L is older earlier footage).

He did catch onto the queer themes which I very much appreciate. I don't know if the blow job euphemism went over his head but I'm just gonna assume he avoided that to keep from YouTube demonatizing the video. But yeah he caught into the vibe that they're gay.

Unfortunately the evidence does seem to line up that Frank will probably get removed from Welcome Home 😭😭. I do like the theory that Wally wants the show revived and remembered but not in a picture perfect sanitized way but in an authentically queer way.

I seriously don't think Home is the one pulling any strings and I'm adamant it's the companies themselves doing all this. But I do think the neighbors are being pressured to act perfect for TV sanitization.

I have come to terms with something about Frankly Dear.

And it's that I have a fanon idea of how their dynamic works which is nothing like how it would play out in canon.

I thought I was staying close enough to the canon, but alas I was lost.

But, that's okay. I can have my fanon where they're addicted to each other and my canon where they're very back and forth if that makes sense.

Like, Omens Arc Frank doesn't always act like how canon Frank would to certain scenarios. But that's okay.

I suppose this is one of the many great revelations one has while writing fanfiction: that you don't always have to adhere to the canon details to write your fanfiction. The plot isn't canon, so why should the characters be?

Or I'm just really fucking high and think this is smart.
