Spoilers for season 2 of Xmen 97 I guess. (I barely know anything lol)

Okay so the trailer is out for season 2 and though I’ve not seen it for too many spoilers I have gotten glimpses. And my love for this smug little grey goop boi is reawakening… uh ohh.

Drawing’s been really difficult for me recently because of new work and a massive art block. Also my Wacom board is fully in the grave now, so there might only be sketchbook doodles for a while until I can get enough for a new one😅

In their character lore Zam lived at an orphanage for mutant kids up until their mid teens. These kids were usually kids who couldn't blend in with the crowd though there were exceptions. Shortly after their 16th birthday the Orphanage were forced to close after an incident. (that they totally wasn't part of) Hearing this, the X-men came and helped relocate the kids to the School. A few chose to stay behind. Being old enough to make that decision, or running away before the X-men came. The group here were the ones that went with them. (Maybe i'll add more one day.)

So uhhh... The new minecraft update huh. My friends and I watched the Minecraft Live tonight and WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE ENCOURAGED TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THESE PRECIOUS BABIES!! STOP SULFUR SLIME ABUSE 😭 Why didn't they just make a ball block??? Why must they suffer for our amusement??? I love the Sulfur slimes they're all my babies I will defend them with my life! They will live at my house and they will never get hit ever, and be happy. Also as a bonus here's one of my friends and with their little red wagon of the babies!

"Watching you" Marble Hornets fanart in 2026? more likely than you think. I've been away for a long time cause i've been working on portfolio for art school. While working i rewatched Marble Hornets and it was just as awesome as I remember. Thought i'd do a little Hoody and Masky drawing and it turned out well enough that i wanted to colour it. Really fun to visit an old hyper fixation.

I’m not sure if it’s an ask but I like your banner for your blog. I like how everyone in welcome home, the neighbors especially all look scared or frightened and then there’s just Wally staring at the audience or a camera? I don’t know but it’s just so different. They are scared but of him or what home has done to them? Or will do.

Thank you! I'm so glad you like it! it's still one of my favourite pieces i've made for welcome home. I will answer what I was thinking while drawing it, but i will preface this by saying that anyone are allowed to interpret it however they want. There's no right or wrong way to view it. and i absolutely adore the theories i've gotten in the comments! <3 So don't let me ruin your fun hehe. Now for my rambley little thoughts:

My theory at the time was that the world of Welcome Home had started decaying or at least something had gone very very wrong (apocalypse style horror). And that the video clips we got were flashbacks of it all break. With the neighbours watching it all fall apart around them and being scared to hell cause they can't comprehend what's going on. The void they are in is reminiscent of the one Eddie found himself in, in the Home-warming update. Maybe that's all that's left in the end? idk. Anyways! So, the neighbours are looking all around them are fearfully trying to make sense of their surroundings. There are two outliers though. Wally, and Eddie. The idea was that as your reality breaks you become aware of us in some capacity hence why they're both looking at us. (I thought it was home's doing at the time, cause all we had to go off of were the homewarming vids, so that's why you can see his windows in their eyes. They've both become enlightened. One against his will. (Eddie) and one welcoming it with open arms. (Wally)) Wally is as always starring right at us. He knows we're there after all. And he's been speaking to us face to face numerous times. Eddie on the other hand only just woke up. At the time he was the only other character outside of Wally that had truly experienced (or been involved in) the Horrors™, so that's why he's looking towards us, though his gaze much less focused on us cause he still can't fully understand.

A lot of this is based on old facts and the story seems to point in another direction now, which i love too. I'm still very happy theough with the drawing hehe and i wanna redraw it again some day. Maybe when i've finished my portfolio for art school i'll do it. (;

"Old fools" Yet again posting art of Wildflower aka. Hound and Aspen. These two will get together eventually. A little older and grayer, but they got there in the end. now they get the rest of their lives to be happy with each other.

Poltergeist and Zam had a very long standing bet on whether Hound and Aspen would ever get together. Zam finally got their money back.

"Beach trip with the boys!"

There's a beach near Xavier's mansion and sometimes when the team have some free time they take a little evening trip to find trinkets and have fun. Today it was Zam, Hound, Aspen, Polter, and Birdie.

I've said this before, but this is so freaking good, dude! As always you draw Morph and Logan so well. And I absolutely adore the rendering and textures in this one, and colour choices! You did an amazing job! Love radioactive morph hehe.
