I've been an avid silent hill fan for countless years now. I've played the first 4, Homecoming & Downpour, too many time to count, I know all the lore and have pick apart all the symbolism. I practically grew up with it, watching my sister play 4 when I was just 6-7 years old. This being said, nothing ever crawled under my skin about silent hill expect for one thing and I find it kind of embarrassing that I let it fuck me up so badly. Robbie the Rabbit. Fucking Robbie The Rabbit! I first encountered this bastard in Silent Hill 4 with him in Eileen's apart. And I thought absolutely nothing of the pink blob until it turned to stare and point and mock and oh god the horror. It still kind of freaks me out. I experienced my first panic attack because of that bastard. I remember scouring photobucket, of all things, looking at silent hill pictures aND I WILL NEVER FORGET OUT OF NO WHERE I STUMBLED ACROSS A PICTURE. IT WAS LIKE YOU WERE LOOKING OUT THE PEEP HOLE AND BAM. THERE WAS ROBBIE. LIKE HI HOW ARE YOU. I TURNED MY COMPUTER OFF AND DIDN'T GET ON PHOTOBUCKET AGAIN. that bastard pink rabbit got me all sorts of fucked up.

Our favorite franchise turned 17 today c: I figure I’d stay positive for today despite the horrible circumstances we haven’t recovered from. Tonight my sister and i are going to do a run through the first game because. well. why not?
