YOU LIKE GILES?! omg!! I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer!! I don't actively insert for it bc it's been a while since I've watched it, I do think about it periodically though. Spike is my fave #1 badass vamp. Anyways, do you have a si for btvs? if you do, i'm interested in hearing a bit about them??

Ohmygoodness I AM SO HAPPY to find someone that actually loves btvs too!? I just happened to have watched it in the last year but boy am I hooked;; I actually just finished watching it a few days ago;; (Here I come Angel series and comic books) And YES I totally have an extremely thought out S/I for it-I didn’t mean to fall for the middle aged Englishman but here we are.

Thank you so much for giving me an excuse to gush a little about my S/I too @indigoskies! I’ll just…talk briefly about her here. I’ve actually got some fic written out, and I can post a full thing about my S/I in a separate post so this doesn’t get too long;;

(Forgive me, this is a little long so under the cut;; )

Basically, I aged myself up to better match Gile’s age for this and in this I’m a normal fiction author, but once I visit Sunnydale for a book signing, it turns out the ‘dreams’ I’ve been having and using for my books (the Duffy the Demon Hunter series lol) are actually visions about Buffy and the gang. This takes place around the end of the second season and am informed I’m ‘The Oracle’ which is basically a seer/prophesier that solely sees visions of the Slayer. 

I kinda tweaked some stuff in the show to better fit this Oracle position (like that prophecy at the end of the first seasons about Buffy was by a previous Oracle, and having knowledge about Faith/Kendra, and also finding Potentials in the last season). Basically I kinda end up moving to Sunnydale permanently after finding out about my position and end up hanging with the Scooby Gang. 

Personality wise, I’m pretty optimistic, warm, and gentle. Usually smiling and trying my best to help out and perhaps a little too enthusiastic about learning about demons and the like-and a little too reckless when it comes to the fighting. Even though I didn’t mean to, I end up really trying to be there for the Gang and become protective of them, almost like a second mother (but I’ll deny it-at least ‘aunt’ sounds cooler). I always try to be positive around them, but there’s an underlying side story about me actually struggling through depression;;

As far as progress with Giles-I arrive like literally right after Jenny dying, so I don’t really try pursuing him while he grieves. There’s also awkward moments where I do things similar to her-which makes things even more emotionally confusing. And also there’s the part of me still getting used to the idea that Buffy and the Gang (including Giles) are not actually fictional characters from my books aha- Otherwise though, we get along very well very easily but it’s not until maybe the end of third season/midway through fourth when we actually get together. From there we’re kinda just solidly a couple.

BUT YEAH I know I said ‘briefly’ but it still ended up too long;; BUT SERIOUSLY THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting me gush a little!

GDI alright it's official, Giles has made it on my fav list, I'm officially selfshipping with a middle aged English man from a show in the 90's about vampires and corny one liners. How did it come to this-and why did I arrive to the Buffy scene over ten years too late-

Finally wrote some fanfiction after a loooooong time of nothing. :P

I personally really like this story! It might be my favourite one that I've written yet. :3
