i’ll start w frea - technically she’s a character from the star wars rpg, not d&d, but i’m just going with it. she’s a nautolan force user! tally, meanwhile, is a drow abjuration wizard from the d&d campaign my starpg pals and i are also doing.
1. what is this character’s alignment? tally is lawful good and frea is...well, she’s true neutral leaning towards chaotic neutral. to quote her, “ooh, that sounds like self-interest! i like self-interest.”
2. what is a notable quote from this character? alternatively, what is their favorite quote? my personal favorite tally moment was when she got annoyed with a prisoner goblin who wouldn’t answer her questions and, after threatening him a couple times and hitting him once, she just went “this is a cantrip, buddy, i can cast it all damn day.” as for frea, she’s had some really solid gold interactions with @bestahlia and @wingedscribe‘s characters, but i think my favorite quote was when she made a pass at a character called the gigantic mechanic by pretending to casually lean on something even though there was nothing there and going “are you from space tennessee? because you’re the only space ten i see.” (it worked).
3. summarize your character’s backstory in no more than three sentences. frea grew up alone on the streets, teaching herself to use the force in small ways that could make her life easier (ie force pulling something she wanted to steal). so she’s very slow to trust and very new to this whole friendship thing, and has a very short temper. tally, on the other hand, grew up underground with the other drow, but after her clan killed her sister behind her back, she left. now she travels around on the surface helping the weak in an attempt to atone for failing to save her sister.
4. describe your character with a song title. everyone’s a VIP to someone for tally, and sorry i’m arrogant & obsessive for frea (the song doesn’t fit but the title sure does lol).
12. what meme would you use to describe the character? oh shit, here we come i guess. definitely powerthirst for frea. i feel like tally would be cheerfully confused by memes but she might be the brain expanding meme where each step is a kinder act?
18. what is the character’s favorite pokemon? frea’s pokemon would be whatever she could be convinced is the strongest - so probably mewtwo, at least for a while, or arceus. tally would love chansey.
19. what pokemon go team would they be on? frea is a dead fucking ringer for team valor - you know that post where the team valor person is like “i haven’t slept in THREE DAYS and i drove STRAIGHT INTO AN OLD NAVY for a squirtle”? that’s frea in a nutshell. tally would likely be instinct.
24. what is your character’s favorite album? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!! i feel like tally would like sufjan stevens - planetarium would probably be her favorite because it’s so soothing and atmospheric! @bestahlia and i established that for the canon of our star wars game, nautolan music is just the mcelroy’s cover of boat drinks, so i know this is kind of a cop out but that’s frea’s. (to quote qiell, helen’s nautolan: “you fiends! put boat drinks back on!”)
25. what does this character mean to you? hoo boy. i mean, i’ve only played a couple sessions with tally, so i’m not sure i have enough of a handle on her to answer this question. i’m kinda sappy about frea though, not just because of the character but because of the campaign? basically (and i’ve texted you about this at length lmfao) i was just. super super happy to be included when the campaign was starting, bc it meant friends/acquaintances of mine thought of me and thought i would be fun to have in the game. and i met some cool people through this campaign, and gotten to know some acquaintances better, and frea is just kinda.....emblematic of all that to me? look i have bpd i can’t not be weird about being included in stuff l m f a o i know i’m being weird but let me live
