This was, apparently, an alarming reaction to waking up because the Healer that came in to check on him panicked and his Master (his Master) began shouting. Obi-Wan was crying too hard to really concentrate on what was happening around him, but he could feel them - all ten thousand of them - bright and alive in the Force and nothing else in that moment was more important.

Are there any sources that you used for the descriptions of the founders' clothing that stood out as particularly useful in OALC? I'm planning to make historical Salazar Slytherin clothing using historical techniques, probably based on some of your descriptions. I'm just gathering as much research as possible at the moment to work out my design.

Yep. Here’s what I’ve got, but since they’re basic illustration type things (or museum pieces) you have to pull the embellishments from the fic itself:

This was a common tunic length for people who could afford the extra cloth, if not that color. It was far more common for tunics to hit about knee-length, though. (Most illustrations from the period involving kings will wear tunics of this length). And yes, that flash of white are the famous braes, i.e. pants, and breeches went over them for a long long long-ass time like chaps...and then came the codpieces.

Factually recreated shoes (though the laces are too short)

Drawn styles from the approximate era to showcase how men would tie their shoes into place, where most tunics on men hit (the knees) and includes an example of a robe (far right) in regards to sleve types and how it would be the overgarment. You could also find them on men wearing shoes/boots, not that underslip. Also demonstrates how men wore their cloaks.

Period tunic and hose example. Why the dude chose not to wear shoes is, apparently, his business.
