Could I ask for cute modern Marco headcanons? :)

Indeed you can, friend!!!

Marco is a self-proclaimed optimist. He does his very best to be positive most of the time, and he’s always quick to make people feel better when they’re down. He also doesn’t let anyone be self-depricating ever. Unless it’s all a joke. Then he’ll play along.

He’s very physically affectionate. With friends, you can always expect hugs and high fives and a lot of those casual shoulder squeezes/arm punches. With S/O’s, pretty much all bets are off. 

He’s the oldest of four kids, and the oldest cousin on both sides of his family. 

He’s very graceful and flexible. He’s a dancer, both competitively, performatively, and for theater. And he’s really, really good at it. 

He also has an angelic singing voice, so he always gets the good theater roles and charms at every talent show. He’s just so talented!

He cries when he gets frustrated, particularly with himself. And then he gets even more frustrated because he’s crying and can’t control anything, and life’s just horrible, isn’t it? 

Marco adores school. It helps that he’s really good at it. His favorite class is English Language Arts, but he honestly doesn’t dislike any class. He makes the most out of everything, and is a favorite of most of his teachers. 

He actually goes on to major in education, and becomes a high school English teacher. 

He’s a big fan of hot chocolate, and tries to drink it year round. (His friends usually won’t let him do that, though.)

He loves animals. He could spend hours watching videos of cute animals online if unchecked. He ends up getting two cats when he’s older and has his own place, (who are named Jane and Luna.)

Marco is ridiculously obsessed with Harry Potter. 

He is one of the most ruthless Mario Kart players you’ve ever met. 

He quotes Shakespeare when he’s drunk. 

He will correct people’s grammar almost without thinking. It’s one of his biggest pet peeves. 

He so rarely complains, so when Marco gets salty about something, you know it’s serious. 

He takes the best Snapchats ever.
