You see how Shigaraki is shown to have some kind of holes in his palm when he is about to steal a quirk? Well, the freckles conspiracy is about Izuku not having actual freckles but tiny holes than can also vacuum quirks.

And the joke is that said freckles kinda blink when they are hungry.

To go back to the freckles... What if Izuku starts to have freckles all over his body and everyone assumes that it’s because of the sun, but no, those are the AFO-stigmata and he can take quirks with them?

The AFO stigmata is on his hands but Izuku's freckles could be the same, like it could be why Izuku has freckles and neither parent is seen with them too. Just headbutt someone to steal quirk.
