Went with a freddy moore look with this one. You may not recognize the name, but you most definitely seen his work. the middle one is inspired by foxtail from ok ko.

I'm kind of digging this new look? Freddy Moore's Mickey will always come first in by heart, but I think the mesh of styles here is pretty cute, and I hope they make more of these.
In any case, its WAY better than CG Mickey Mouse.
Also, the backgrounds/layouts are GORGEOUS.
Steven is the best entrepreneur I know. I think this app he developed is the most brilliant thing he's come up with yet! I have to admit I'm always slightly envious of the progress he makes, because I know I am equally capable...though, I think what makes him truly successful is how great he is at articulating and selling his ideas in the most natural and compelling way (which is apparent in this vid). Unlike many, I've never seen another side to Steven: he's very sincere and passionate about what he shares. Ultimately, I think that's the real key. If you want to be successful in animation or commercial art, the more you can glean from what Steven is doing and has accomplished, the more empowered you'll be. He has set up several easily searchable streams to engage with him. I spoke to one of the models (a friend, and very sweet person) who participated in this "PoseBook" app and he was so elated by the prospects of the project. That's another nice off-shoot of this particular product-those hard working models also benefit from your patronage.
There is another guy whom I've never met, but seems equally adept at entrepreneurship, Shane Glines. He's a fantastic artist and has a site called "Cartoon Retro" which is a compilation of inspired design. Shane has such an appealing style. The charm of his work reminds me of one my favorites: Freddy Moore combined with Bruce Tim.
