Just as many other Western New Yorkers, I was dumbfounded the news that Fred Jackson had been let go by the Buffalo Bills. I remember watching him while in college at St. John Fisher, saying “He’s the guy we need to go with!” Fred has been the only player who’s jersey I’ve wanted to own since I was about 9 years old, so I had to pay my respects the best way I know how.
