FRED- “You are sure about this, right?”
DARYL- “Uh, yeah Dad, I am sure.”
FRED- “Okay then. Good. I am glad you are sure. I just want you to be happy. Both of you. I want you both to be happy. Life isn’t fun without having someone to love. I haven’t been happy since your mom passed. So find that one and hold them very close. I hope you both find someone as special as what I found. He better know how lucky he is too! If not, I will let him know!! That goes for you too Chad!”
DARYL- “So, you’re okay with this?”
FRED- “Of course, Daryl, why wouldn’t I be. Don’t you know me better than that?”
DARYL- “No, not really Dad. To be honest, I really don’t know you at all.”
FRED- “Well maybe it is time we change that then!”
FRED- “I love you Daryl, and your mom would have been proud of both you boys.”
DARYL- “Thanks Dad, that means a lot.”
FRED- “Good, is this over now? can we have dinner, PLEASE!? And when is that play you are in at the community theater going to start?”
