I know I already asked for one but nobody else seems to be asking for it; Rin and Shirou headcannons? :D

Rin rather likes having someone around who cleans out of habit (see the Archer/Rin ask but with a bit less angsty buffness)

Everyone’s convinced that their relationship is some wacky rumour since they don’t even act that coupley at school. Rin will neither confirm nor deny this because she thinks their gossip and curiosity is kind of funny, but when her friends seriously ask her about it she clams up and goes red and they’re like “Ohhhhhh my good god it’s true isn’t it”

Some of the guys come up to Shirou and congratulate him, like wow, good for you for landing someone like Tohsaka! And Shirou gets grumpy at them because even though he used to talk with them like that, now that he knows her he’s kind of uncomfortable with how everyone implants that superficial, celebrity status on her

It’s not as if they’re on a mission to keep it private or anything, though. Rin smooches him matter-of-factly before leaving for class one day and everyone in the hall is all :O including Shirou who’s standing there steaming

They still practice magic together. Rin shakes her head and makes that face (we all know the one) when he flounders and berates him for being dangerous, but she’s actually really proud that he’s getting better

Shirou learns her favourites (tea, dinner, breakfast, etc) without saying anything and just kind of cooks them up for her like it’s no big deal, and Rin has a tiny internal crisis

Shirou stays over and wakes up from one of his dreams, and has the itch to go work in the shed, but there isn’t one at Rin’s house. So Rin wakes up later to find her bedmate gone, to the sound of distant vacuuming

When they do have stayovers, Shirou is always the one dragging Rin out of bed and making sure she’s awake. She gets quite fed up with this and one morning he wakes up to find she’s already up, dressed, and making tea, purely out of playful spite

Sometimes though they both wake up together, and share the night, talking in the dark or watching the stars until the sun rises

Sometimes they find themselves walking hand-in-hand or eating together or reading side by side, or something, and Rin’s kind of blown away by how weird and normal it feels. It’s not so bad, deviating slightly from the logical and lonely path.

I hope you both intended this as looking at them as a ship because that's what my brain is full of that's what you're gonna get

Pillow fights. Paint fights. Snowball fights. Water fights. Food fights that always start with a little playful flick of sauce here or there and "Now, look, we must be mature about this and not make a mess" and always end with them both laughing and covered in mashed potato

They sometimes stay up way into the night just talking, about heroic things, about memories, and war stories and battle songs and old friends and musings on where they might have gone wrong, but also about really random junk that happens to be on their minds and they discuss it no less deeply because they're that comfortable with each other

They go for runs together. They race each other now and then, naturally. Last one around that bend has to make breakfast!

They also do other exercise together, like dual sit-ups, you know, when your legs are interlocked to balance each other out. And once Saber pulled into a sit-up and Dia was already there and she bumped right into him and he smooched her on the mouth and she fell backwards and blushed for like five days

It's not all hard work, though, they love just lounging around watching TV together... and complaining about in shock and awe/making fun of things like late night infomercials

Dia takes every opportunity to dote on Saber (even though they take it in turns paying for dates) especially with food. He likes to treat her and see her happy

And she can eat AND drink him under the table any day and he's really quite impressed by it

They have lots of increasingly stupid in-jokes

"When we get home, I'm going to tear all your clothes off." "Not if I tear yours off first."
