the crusader wont stop screaming. please tell them to stop, im going deaf
But why would you tag people who are NOT friends with kalena
Well, guys, I don't know who unc is actually friends with but that's the list of people who ANON said "Kalena" is friends with, who she demanded an answer from and had them all not answer her. Whether you disagree or agree with somebody, whether the conversation is difficult, if you have a platform where you're allowing people to seek out explanations from you (anon inbox), you should give that to them.
Granted, are the tagged people absolutely obligated to do that? No. Nobody should be forced to speak about something and nobody should be forced NOT to speak about something. But, does it conflict their morality as a blog with a ***presumed, I'm not familiar** good amount of followers, because they owe a duty of acknowledgment to the people supporting them, but choose to stay silent about topics that are pressing to those same people (such as making mocking posts toward people with down syndrome), causing hurt to their followers, or have to do with close associates? 100%. Queer girls and people with all sorts of differences take refuge on this app, and I think watching the people you resonate with not acknowledge something you view as important while you actively have supported them and currently look to them for answers is painful, which is why that anon sent that message. They weren't rude, angry, disrespectful, they just wanted those people to acknowledge them and so far, they didn't and actually responded quite rudely as I've been shown, so.
IDK guys i'm a fucking yapper point is is like free the anon bro they didn't deserve to get shit on
Yeah, also rough, but hopefully on the mend. Coming off the back of some gross health issues, but fingers crossed.
Good to see some things never change, especially considering I so heavily associate you with pastel yellow.
Congratulations on graduating! That's so amazing, we must have graduated only 3-4 months apart.
More study?! I don't know how you do it, uni murdered me dead, but those are some shiny subject areas. Librarian and museum curation are such vibes, they totally suit you. Oof the student loans though, I looked at studying across the ditch and it looks like your uni fees and ours are on parr. And by that I mean brutal.
So many plays! Which was your favourite? What are they about???
A gay poetry manuscript? Never has a specific sequence of words words excited me so much 😍 What's the vibe? Besides gay, obvi.

This current degree is killing me. It's at a different tertiary institution than my undergrad and the museum studies and things are very different. But it's all interesting! And I'm determined to get these degrees. I've been trying to find ways to weave them all together. (And I'm considering a teaching degree as well, not 100% sure about that just yet).
It's a struggle, balancing study with everything else. Especially since I never say no to anything.
I was able to convince my friends to act in one of my favourite plays (the one I directed). It's called DNA (by Dennis Kelly). Basically, a bunch of teenagers fuck up, try to cover up what they did, and fuck up even more. We ended up having to record it because of COVID and all that. The one I'm writing is based on a 10 minute play I wrote in 2019 that was performed last year. It's called The Red Rabbit. It centres on 4 people who are childhood friends. However, 3 of them are high ranking people in the mafia scene and the other is a cop who has no idea. In the 10 minute version, the mafia friends kidnap the cop and try to convince them to join their side. I'm turning it into a full length/two act play. The one I'm editing is a modernised and lesbian version of Romeo and Juliet called Ruby and Juliet. The language is modern, but an ideal production of this play would take elements from different time periods and just blur them all together.
My manuscript is called Lavender Menace! The poems basically tell a story of discovering your sexuality and gender identity, mostly through a lesbian lens. It's very much discovery and exploration and falling in love and a little bit of heartbreak
It's been two years nearly to the day since I last messaged you, or something like that. I'm so so sorry for disappearing. I've lost so much time the past two years, I genuinely thought it'd been maybe six months, a reason but not an excuse. A lot happens in two years, hey? COVID hadn't happened yet back then, difficult to comprehend. How have you been? Is pastel yellow still your favourite colour? How's university, creative writing and theatre studies? Odds are you've probably graduated by now, I'm sorry I missed that. - Free
Hey! It's totally fine, I get it. It's been rough. A lot does happen in two year.
Like I said, it's been rough but I'm doing good! How about you?
Pastel yellow is still my favourite colour.
And yeah, I've graduated! I graduated in May, but elected not to go through the ceremony. Didn't want to be tired for the show I was stage managing that night. (so it's okay you missed it, I technically missed my graduation ceremony). I'm currently in my last trimester for a library and information studies degree, and I'm enrolled for a museum studies degree that starts next year. (massive student loan).
But I'm still writing, and still doing theatre. I directed a play this yeah, working on writing another, and editing a second play.
I'm also getting very close to finishing a gay poetry manuscript as well.
It's great to hear from you, though! And I hope you're doing well!
its been a while since then, but every so often i wonder what Free Anon is up to. How've you been since the last time we talked?
Oh wow 😮 You'll love it! South Island is so gorgeous. I fell in love with Fanz Josef in particular. It's a good film, but I only recommend watching it if you're in a good head space. Also gotta be careful because there's a LOT of potential triggers. Oh man, I love orchids and most kinds of bulbs, like tulips or hippeastrums. Also love the smells of rondeletia, orange blossoms, and jasmine. Favourite nonalcoholic drink? - Free
I would love to visit the South Island. Especially since one of my best friend is going to uni there and I now have a few friends from Greymouth. It would be nice to visit them again. They're an awesome bunch of people.
I'll definitely look it up!
Orchids are great. My grandparents used to have them growing in their garden along with a large variety of roses at their old place. I loved them. I'm more partial to sunflowers. I don't know why, I've just fallen in love with them recently.
I love apple juice. I'll occasionally get an iced chocolate if I feel like it.
Favourite recipe?
Y’all have beautiful lakes and mountains and forests and everything else though, which is neat regardless of snow. Are you from the North Island? Maaan, I thrived on the Lightning Thief, Beetlejuice, and Be More Chill musicals, but somehow I still haven’t seen Hadestown 😂 Ooof, tough one! Depends on my mood honestly? One movie I always make people watch is Harold and Maude. I watch it at least once a year and have a good cry. Greatest fear? - Free
We do have all of that, yes. There are some neat little spots I've been to. Yeah, I'm from the North Island. I haven't left the North Island ever. One day I want to.
I don't think I've seen that movie. And I always struggle with that question too.
Greatest fear? Being alone and losing everyone I care about.
