Skincare is still my life
What is the best freeman face mask??
I’m a huge fan of Freeman masks. They have so many face masks now that it’s hard to keep track of each one but these are my favorites (Sweet Tea & Lemon Peel -Away Clay Mask, Cucumber Peel - Off Mask, Banana- Oatmeal Soothing Mask, Avocado and Oatmeal Clay Mask, Apple Cider Clay + Scrub and the Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask) that I have been repurchasing over the years. These masks are gentle on my skin, and doesn’t make my skin feel dried out once I remove it. These masks are good to use daily depending on your mood or how your skin is looking or feeling. Each masks do different things but I notice they are soothing and non-drying on my skin. I personally enjoyed these masks very much. I think it made my skin soft and help with textures. Highly recommended and not to mention super affordable. You can find them at any local drugstores. I normally get mines on Amazon.

Review: Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask
It's no secret that Kennedy and I are huge fans of the $4 Freeman masks, available your local Walmart. In terms of quality, these are top notch, and for product value-- well. I have yet to use up a whole bottle.
I've tried almost all of them and loved them all, but I've always been curious about the charcoal one. I'd never seen it in store, and I'm pretty big on using charcoal in facial products. SO IMAGINE MY JOY WHEN I GO TO WALMART FOR MY USUAL CAT LITTER PICKUP AND MY FRIEND SPOTS THE CHARCOAL MASK WE HAD JUST BEEN TALKING ABOUT. Truly, I am blessed. I grabbed one and fiendishly ran to the register like the gross little goblin I am, and when I got home, the first thing I did was slather it on.
Lots of things to be said about this mask. First, it was not a really creamy mask like I expected. I thought it would be more like the Origins mask I rave about on here, but it wasn't. It was gritty and grainy and very scrub-like. Actually, its consistency reminded me mostly of the Fresh Sugar Face Polish, a $68 mask of amazing quality that I once got a sample of and have been salivating over ever since.
The Freeman mask applies pretty well, and because of its grittiness, you can massage it into your skin as you would with a scrub-- which is actually what the bottle recommends. I left it on for about 10 minutes and then massaged it for a couple afterwards, before washing it off.
This mask is pretty unusual because it kind of warms up with your skin, and instead of freezing and staying put, it becomes a lot more liquidy and easier to slather around. The thick consistency stays, but it also softens. It also smells delicious-- like actual sugar. It might be my favourite smelling mask to date-- and I've used plenty.
After I washed it off, my skin legitimately felt softer. My skin's been acting dry and yucky lately and I've been dealing with some excess stress, and I found this mask helped remove all my dry patches, provide some moisture, and even smooth things out on my face. I'll probably be incorporating this into my skincare routine as a regular thing a couple times a week, because I really like what it did last night. This morning, too, my skin looked happier, but that might be because of a new thing I'm trying and will be talking to you guys again.
Overall, another incredible purchase from Freeman, coming highly recommended. These masks haven't let me down once.

Pollution…debris…it's a wonder skin can breathe! This unique mask and scrub works double time to detox skin. First, naturally purifying Activated Charcoal helps absorb oil and impurities without over-drying. Then, Black Sugar helps exfoliate away dulling skin cells for softness and clarity. Perfect for all skin types. Directions: Apply mask to face and neck, avoiding contact with eyes. Leave on for 5 to 7 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Use 2 times a week or as often as needed. Size: 6.0 oz.
I've bought this at my local drugstore, and I am amazed!! My skin is so much fresher, cleaner and smoother!!! Seriously, it's a cheap and great mask, if you want to treat yourself; try it!! :)
Review: Freeman feeling beautiful clay masks
As you can see I am madly in love with this product. These were priced at $4 each at my local CVS and I had to get them all!
How to use the mask: Spread the mask onto your bare face, make sure your face is make up free, and then wait for it to dry. I usually wait about 10-15 minutes. Your face with feel stiff , that is when you should wash it off. Your face will feel so smooth and refreshed afterwards!
Anti-stress dead minerals mask: Score (10/10) This is my favorite out of the three. It gives your face a fun blue tint and it has a very soothing smell. I would describe it as lavender? Or if you have ever smelt the baby shampoo from Johnson & Johnson.
Clarifying Acai clay mask: Score (7/10) This is my second favorite, it smells like flowers and all things pretty. The reason why this is my second favorite is because of the smell. It smells okay, but I'm not a fan of floral smells. The Acai and the Dead Mineral mask both have the same effect, but the smell is the only distinction.
Oatmeal and Avocado clay mask: Score (0/10) I have very sensitive skin and for some reason the other clay masks have caused me no problems, but this one irritated my skin very badly. I had pimples forming and my skin was glowing.. red.
Overall I would definitely purchase the Dead Minerals mask again, it is definitely worth it. The other ones, I'm not quite sure I love them enough to even spend four dollars on them.
